This product is shown as a recommended accessory for a Canon G3 camera. I purchased one and found it will not fit a G3 camera under any circumstances. It is designed for the G2. You should take this item off your accessory list for the G3 camera.

Solid case...with good protection for the G2. Two-piece design can be a little cumbersome in quick-shooting situations, but all in all, a great accessory for the G2.

Will not fit G3 [Posted on 2003-09-03]
This is a recommended accessory for the G3, but will not fit it. If you order it, you will most likely receive it through J&R Music World. If you try to return it, they will want you to pay for shipping because of the error on this web page. They will give you a big hassle about it too.
Do not order it for the G3. There is another case somewhere called the PSC-3000. It also has no pockets for any cards or accessories. Too bad someone didn't correct this error a long time ago and save people aggrivation. Doesn't anyone ...read these reviews???

it does not fit a G3 [Posted on 2003-09-09]
As simple as that, if you got a G3 don't buy it, it will not fit. The bottom screw which hold the camera to the case does not aling to the existing threads on the body of the camera. Don't get me wrong here it is a fine product, nice brown leather well crafted, but IT DOES NOT FIT A G-3
