My dad loves this [Posted on 2008-11-02] I got this for my dad and he loves this shaver. It shaves pretty well and it is pretty hand since it is cordless and runs on batteries.
Amazon buyer beware [Posted on 2008-11-06] I purchased one of these in early October. When it arrived it would not work at all in spite of trying numerous batteries. I contacted Amazon asking for a replacement. I subsequently received an email from Amazon saying "For health and safety reasons, we don't want the original item back, so please dispose of it at your convenience." Now, three weeks later, Amazon has sent me another email saying that if I don't return the defective shaver they are going to charge my account. First they tell me to throw it away and then they tell me to return it three weeks later. How can I return it if I've thrown it away? What kind of game is this? Buyer beware.
Travel Braun Shaver Review [Posted on 2008-11-10] This shaver is perfect for travel. Its small yet very efficient. It doesn't require a cord or a charger since it operates on two AA batteries. I am quite pleased with this item snd recommend it to anyone on the go.
Nice for the price. [Posted on 2008-11-11] Nice for the price. Leaves my skin a little more irritated than my much more expense Panasonic, but not so bad that I would hesitate to use it.
Okay, light-duty shaver for a low price [Posted on 2008-11-19] I needed a travel shaver to take on a trip to India because I was warned not to use a blade razor to avoid getting contaminated water in a facial cut. While the price and size of this shaver is okay, it just didn't shave that well unless I went over the same area several times. But doing so irritated my skin too much. End result is that I used the shaver for quick touch-ups and I ended up looking like I needed a shave for much of the trip. Might work well for light beards, avoid it if you have a heavy, fast-growing beard.
